About the Role

Pandher Trucking Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Coordination: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on logistics operations, including metrics on efficiency and productivity.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient logistics operations.
  • Scheduling and Procedures: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Logistics Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics operations, or equivalent experience.
  • Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 people.
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail required.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess excellent client focus, organizational skills, and reliability.
