RSM's Private Client Services practice is seeking a skilled Tax Supervisor to support our team in delivering exceptional tax services to our clients. As a Tax Supervisor, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from single to multi-generational private businesses and high net worth families. You'll be responsible for advising clients on a full spectrum of business and tax opportunities, including succession planning, wealth transfer planning, and tax compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on business and tax opportunities, including succession planning, wealth transfer planning, and tax compliance
  • Manage and oversee engagement teams focused on partnership, corporate, and trust entities
  • Anticipate client needs and collaborate with RSM colleagues in specialty tax areas
  • Provide leadership, training, and career mentorship to staff and supervisor-level team members
  • Drive growth opportunities with existing clients and prospects

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field
  • CPA license or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working in public accounting with an emphasis on taxation and/or private client taxation
  • Proficient in entity and individual taxation
  • Familiar with gift and estate taxation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA in-depth course and/or Master's in Taxation
  • Experience with private client or business taxation with a desire to grow skills in the private client arena
