Your OpportunityOur Alberta offices are seeking a Tax Manager to join the Domestic Tax team and take on the following responsibilities:
- Lead client engagements for a wide variety of private clients
- Identify, develop, and implement strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities
- Assist with various tax compliance needs for your clients, including the review of corporate, trust, and estate tax returns
- Build key working relationships with clients
- Participate in business development initiatives, including identifying new business opportunities with existing clients
- Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
- Engage in training staff and investing in the professional development of your team

You should have a strong understanding of your clients' industry, challenges, and opportunities, and be able to identify, recommend, and deliver effective service delivery to your clients. You should also be able to grow your expertise through learning and professional development.
Your Experience and EducationWe're looking for a candidate who has completed their CPA designation and has five years of experience in public accounting with a strong affinity for tax. You should value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work, and display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
