About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Fitter to join our team at Concord Apartments. As an Electrical Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain electrical systems and equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults and malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and safely.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure that electrical work is completed to a high standard and on time.
  • Develop and implement electrical maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failure and reduce downtime.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in electrical technology or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations in Canada.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Working Conditions
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Regular overtime required to meet project deadlines.
  • Work in a team environment with other tradespeople and support staff.
