Food Service Supervisor

At INNISFAIL PIZZA & PASTA 2 FOR 1, we are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and maintain a smooth operation.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence within the team.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future improvements.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for growth.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standard.
- Establish work schedules, ensuring that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Supervise a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Minimum 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
- Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for persons with disabilities, newcomers, refugees, youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
