Job Title: Renovation Helper

We are seeking a skilled Renovation Helper to join our team at Bradner Custom Renovations Ltd. as a key member of our construction crew.

Job Summary:

The Renovation Helper will assist our experienced construction team with various tasks related to renovation projects, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and assisting with concrete work.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Assist with mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Help align pipes during pipeline construction.
  • Assist with drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Assist with framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Assist with demolishing buildings.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and noisy environments.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
  • Ability to work at heights and in dusty environments.
Working Conditions:
  • Varied locations, including construction sites and residential areas.
  • 40 to 50 hours per week, with occasional overtime.
  • Permanent, full-time position.
  • English language required.
