Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Pilot Equipment Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our pilot project support team, you will be responsible for providing in-house and on-site service support for pilot-scale water treatment technologies. This role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment, including pumps, valves, and instrumentation.
  • Collect and analyze water samples to ensure optimal treatment performance.
  • Communicate daily with project managers and report any issues or concerns.
  • Train customers on the operation of pilot equipment and ensure safe working practices.
  • Maintain a neat and organized work site and adhere to Veolia's safety policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Practical experience with mechanical and electrical equipment, preferably in water treatment.
  • Proficient in standard computer software programs and fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA, with occasional international travel.
  • Commit to a 12-16 month contract.
