Pilot Equipment Service Support

Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Pilot Equipment Service Support. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing in-house and on-site service support for our pilot-scale water treatment technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform in-house service support, including assistance during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of piloting equipment prior to shipment to Customer sites and shipments returning from Customer sites.
  • Provide on-site service support at Customer sites across North America, including commissioning, decommissioning, routine maintenance, emergency troubleshooting, and daily operation of pilot-scale water treatment systems.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment, including various pumps, valves, chemical dosing equipment, and online probes.
  • Collect and analyze water samples.
  • Communicate daily with project managers and report issues, concerns, or abnormalities.
  • Conduct daily activities in a safe manner that meets or exceeds Customer and Veolia's safety policies.
  • Maintain a neat, organized, and professional job site and work area.
Requirements:
  • Engineering or other degree, with water treatment experience preferred.
  • Practical experience with mechanical and/or electrical equipment, experience with water treatment equipment preferred.
  • Proficient in standard computer software programs (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) required, French considered an asset.
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA required, ability to travel to other countries considered an asset.
  • Ability to perform light manual tasks on-site, including lifting and using hand and power tools.
