Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on location and experience.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a regulated professional licensed with the provincial college of pharmacy, you will play an essential role in preparing, processing, and compounding prescriptions. Your responsibilities will include receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions, ensuring prescriptions are complete and authentic, and conducting the final check of prepared prescriptions. You will also be responsible for confirming the accuracy of drug and personal health information in patient records.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Completion of the Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
