Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled Neuropsychologist to join our Clinical Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a full range of neuropsychological services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive oral and written assessments of client functioning, including intellectual, neuropsychological, and psychological evaluations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including behavioral and cognitive interventions.
- Provide consultation to colleagues on assessment and treatment issues, including direct consultation and discussion of client concerns.
- Produce and maintain confidential client clinical records, including timely and accurate reports of relevant observations and evaluations.
- Supervise psychology students and interns as required.
- Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
- Two years' recent, related experience in neuropsychological assessment and administration and interpretation of neuropsychological assessments in clients with severe mental illness and experience in geriatrics, including the use of neuropsychological testing in the differential diagnosis of dementia.
- Current registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia (CPBC).
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmental theories, family and social dynamics, treatment and behavior management modalities, psychological and neuropsychological testing and interpretation.
- Ability to prepare comprehensive written assessments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Demonstrated sound knowledge of the service delivery systems at the local, regional, and provincial level.
- Demonstrated ability in implementing policies and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal effectively with others.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
