Job Title: Neuropsychologist

Job Summary:

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled Neuropsychologist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive neuropsychological services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough oral and written assessments of client functioning, including intellectual, neuropsychological, and psychological evaluations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address client needs, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide consultation to colleagues on assessment and treatment issues, ensuring best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Supervise psychology students and interns, promoting professional development and growth.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Two years of recent experience in neuropsychological assessment, with a focus on severe mental illness and geriatrics.
  • Current registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia (CPBC).

Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmental theories, family and social dynamics, treatment and behavior management modalities, psychological and neuropsychological testing and interpretation.
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive written assessments and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
