Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipper-Receiver to join our team at Sysco Southwest Ontario, a division of Sysco Canada. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Receiving and Processing Goods: Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verify quantities and condition, and process paperwork accordingly.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, identify and report discrepancies, and ensure timely restocking of warehouse shelves.
- Shipping and Loading: Prepare and load shipments for delivery, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is an asset.
- Certifications: Counterbalanced forklift training, Forklift Operator Certification, and Narrow aisle forklift training.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced warehouse environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
