Penske Transportation Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurate Data Entry: Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system to ensure accurate tracking and inventory management.
- Inventory Management: Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms, and maintain inventory records to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Material Handling: Load and unload trailers, and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse mechanical equipment to transport stored items.
- Packing and Shipping: Package or kit finished product for shipping, and prepare parcels for mailing.
- Quality Control: Identify and remove damaged products when received, and ensure quality control measures are in place to prevent defects.
- Communication: Communicate with associates from other shifts to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, but not required.
