**Job Summary**

Penske Transportation Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • People Management: Communicate daily work assignments to all shift associates, interview and hire hourly associates, and ensure all associates are treated fairly.
  • Operations Management: Evaluate and recommend changes in work processes to improve customer satisfaction, manage deadline pressures while maintaining a positive attitude, and ensure customer products are stored or delivered in a timely and damage-free manner.
  • Financial Management: Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, understand the relationship between decision-making and profitability, and manage associates' working hours and activities to minimize overtime and meet or exceed productivity targets.
  • Safety Management: Understand the location safety strategy and apply it in the workplace, continuously monitor and reinforce safety awareness among all shift associates, and lead shift safety meetings.
  • Growth and Customer Experience: Present a positive attitude to customers, understand location-specific customer goals and objectives, and determine areas for continuous improvement efforts.
  • Fleet and Asset Management: Ensure all equipment is in proper working order, complete and send maintenance documentation to vendors, and ensure vehicles are properly secured when not in service.

**Requirements**

As a Shift Supervisor at Penske Transportation Solutions, you will be expected to have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also be required to have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
