Job Title: Tractor Trailer Driver Long Haul

Eassons Transport Ltd is seeking a skilled Tractor Trailer Driver Long Haul to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Defensive Driving Course
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • Professional Driver Improvement Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
