Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Second Cup Cafe.
Job SummaryThe Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain a positive customer service experience.
- Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish work schedules and supervise staff to ensure efficient operations.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a coffee shop environment, supervising a team of 1 to 2 people.
