Job Title: Senior Technology Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technology Consultant to join our team at the Bank of Montreal. As a key member of our Technology & Operations group, you will play a critical role in driving business transformation and ensuring the effective governance of our technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver key messages to executives and stakeholders on technology strategy and governance
  • Support and maintain an effective governance framework for technology
  • Make recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives
  • Act as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and policies
  • Network with industry contacts to gain competitive insights and best practices
  • Develop business cases and assess expected return on investment
  • Make risk management recommendations to senior leaders
  • Conduct independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues
  • Represent the governance structure during internal/external regulatory audits and/or examinations
  • Develop and apply the framework for databases and oversee database management
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Expert-level data-driven decision making
