Position: Senior Consultant in Forensic Technology and eDiscovery
Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension or transition to permanent)
Work Arrangement: Fully Remote
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Senior Consultant with specialized knowledge in eDiscovery platforms to become a part of Quantum Technology Recruiting Inc.'s Forensic Technology division. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in digital forensics and cyber incident management.
Your Responsibilities:
In this role, you will lead client projects by identifying, acquiring, processing, and analyzing digital data for eDiscovery purposes, while also organizing and managing Electronically Stored Information (ESI). You will work closely with clients to assess their eDiscovery requirements, propose effective solutions, and supervise the identification, collection, and preservation of ESI, ensuring the integrity of the data. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing data processing methodologies.
- Providing consulting services for Relativity.
- Advising on legal holds and preparing materials for legal actions.
- Implementing quality assurance protocols.
- Staying informed about the latest eDiscovery technologies.
- Conducting training sessions for clients.
- Acting as the primary technical liaison between case managers and client teams.
Essential Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in the eDiscovery field.
- Comprehensive understanding of eDiscovery processes and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
- Expertise in eDiscovery platforms such as Nuix, Relativity, and RelativityOne.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 eDiscovery, Encase, and FTK is advantageous.
- Preferred certifications in Relativity and Nuix.
- Knowledge of data characteristics, file signatures, email threading, and patterns.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Strong skills in relationship management, analysis, problem-solving, communication, and presentation.
- Willingness to quickly learn new tools and technologies.
- Solid understanding of the legal framework surrounding eDiscovery and applicable legal standards.
- Knowledge of forensic methodologies for data analysis and tracking.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities.
