Dock Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dock Attendant to join our team at City Experiences. As a Dock Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our docks, providing exceptional customer service to our guests, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional hospitality to guests and coworkers, adhering to our RESPECT Service System
- Manage guest traffic flow on and off the docks, ensuring a seamless experience for all
- Follow safety protocols to protect passengers and the vessel, and report any incidents or safety concerns to the Dock Manager
- Handle lines to moor vessels to the dock, and ensure the docks are clean and free of debris
- Answer general inquiries and provide information about the facility, and assist guests with questions or concerns
- Follow all safety policies, departmental policies, and service standards, and adhere to all health and safety regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent as recognized by the Ministry of Education
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand and convey written and verbal information to guests and coworkers
- Service-oriented personality, with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions, and to lift up to 40 pounds (18 kilograms)
- Availability to work on all major holidays and weekends
