Job Summary

The Canadian Partnership Against Cancer Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Health Equity Analyst, Analytics Lead to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving improvements in Canada's cancer system through data, research, and economic modeling. Your expertise in health equity analysis will inform system quality improvement initiatives and monitor the Partnership's organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead equity-focused analytic projects and provide analytical expertise in planning, analyzing, interpreting results, and advising on data limitations analyses related to priority populations.
  • Collaborate with jurisdictional and federal partners on equity-focused topics related to measurement and reporting.
  • Develop equity-focused content to inform decision-making and identify organizations that represent equity-deserving populations.
  • Conduct equity-focused analyses using large, linked population health data available at the Toronto Research Data Centre.
  • Work with data custodians to procure data and ensure high data quality.
  • Collaborate with internal program areas and external partners on integrating an equity-focused lens in their approaches to measurement, monitoring, and evaluation.

Requirements
  • University Master's degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Policy & Equity, Public Health, or other relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years' proven experience working with Canadian health data, conducting analyses, and providing interpretation of results.
  • Experience researching, conceptualizing, and writing knowledge products aimed at both policy and research audiences.
  • Experience working in the health equity space, leading equity-focused analyses, and interpreting data.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and SAS, R, or Python.
