About the Role:

GFL Environmental Services is a leading provider of environmental services in North America, and we are currently seeking a skilled Senior Fleet Mechanic to join our team in Bradford, Ontario.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing our diverse fleet of vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. This is a unique opportunity to work with a variety of equipment, including hydro-vacs, dry vacs, tankers, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate, repair, and maintain our fleet of vehicles
  • Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and assist in coordinating repair schedules
  • Respond to service calls and emergencies in the field, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies
  • Support new employee training and stay updated on the latest technology and techniques in the industry

Requirements:

  • Skilled Trades Ontario registration as a Journeyperson with a 310T license and minimum one year of experience
  • Ability to meet safety standards and operate diagnostic software
  • Strong attention to detail, independent work ability
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
