Our Ottawa office has an opportunity for a Systems Analyst.
Design or modify information systems through process of business analysis.
Considers computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
Competent to work in some phases of systems analysis.
S. in Computer Science or similar engineering discipline.
Minimum three years of software development experience.
Experience working directly with business stakeholders to obtain system requirements and ad hoc data request requirements.
Sound software engineering fundamentals.
Expertise in building web applications from the ground up.
Expertise in maintaining existing web applications.
NET development (ASP.NET MVC, C# and/or VB.NET).
Expertise in Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) configuration and security.
Expertise in SQL Server development (data normalization, stored procedures, security, etc.).
Expertise with complex query creation in T-SQL to produce data sets for business users.
Experience with data interfaces between systems.
On a rotational basis you will provide 24X7 support via a cell phone and you might be asked to come into the office.
Experience in validation of software systems in a regulated environment.
Experience with reporting tools (SQL Server Reporting Services, Power BI, etc.).
Experience with SVN source code control.
