Hospitality Support Specialist

We are seeking a Hospitality Support Specialist to join our team at Gestion Cejemar Inc. This is a permanent position that requires a high level of physical activity and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
About the RoleThe Hospitality Support Specialist will be responsible for providing support to our kitchen staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and food quality. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances.
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items according to recipes.
- Portion and wrap foods for customer orders.
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients.
- Take customer orders and maintain accurate records.
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Handle and store cleaning products safely.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as needed.
- Permanent full-time position (40 hours per week).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience working in a kitchen environment an asset.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Fast-paced environment.
- Physically demanding.

- Standing for extended periods.
- Working under pressure.
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
