Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking crop farm labourer to join our team at Haarsma Farms Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to crop farming, including hoeing, cleaning, and harvesting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Maintenance: Apply the technique of hoeing between rows to maintain crop health and prevent weeds from growing.
  • Cleaning and Grading: Clean crops and grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume to fetch high prices in the market.
  • Harvesting and Loading: Harvest crops and load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient farm operations.
Work Environment

As a crop farm labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding conditions. You will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel frequently.

Requirements
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to distinguish between colors, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Workload and Overtime: Ability to handle a large workload and work overtime when required.
