Crop Farm Labourer Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Crop Farm Labourer to join our team at Haarsma Farms Ltd. in a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual labour tasks in a fast-paced environment, including hoeing, cleaning, and harvesting crops.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
  • Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry.
  • Work in a dusty outdoor environment with varying weather conditions.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours.
  • Must be able to bend, crouch, and kneel.
Work Environment:

Our farm is located in a rural area, and staff accommodation is available. We provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
