We are seeking a skilled Crop Farm Labourer to join our team at Sandhills Seed Potatoes Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to crop farming, including hoeing, cleaning, and grading vegetables and fruits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply the technique of hoeing between rows to maintain crop health
  • Clean crops to ensure quality and freshness
  • Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume to fetch high prices in the market
  • Clean the work area to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
  • Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a rural area, outdoors, and in a dusty environment. The work will be physically demanding, requiring the ability to handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements:
  • Experience in crop farming or a related field is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are essential
