Director of Student Recruitment

Join Royal Roads University as a key member of our senior leadership team and drive our student recruitment strategy forward. As the Director of Student Recruitment, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract a diverse and talented student body.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to meet enrolment goals
- Oversee the recruitment team and manage outreach initiatives
- Collaborate with various departments to drive student recruitment
- Drive a steady flow of qualified domestic and international prospects to the University
- Successfully position Royal Roads University to attract learners to graduate and undergraduate programs
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 8-10 years of demonstrated work experience in higher education administration, preferably in marketing, recruitment, admissions, internationalization, or community engagement
- Strong leadership experience with a proven track record in fostering a positive team culture and collaborative working relationships
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing and/or sales, including the student/customer lifecycle, market demographics, generational characteristics, funnel or pipeline management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven student recruitment experience and market knowledge of Canada, the United States, and key global markets
- Knowledge of the admissions, enrolment, student support services, financial aid, and awards functions of a post-secondary institution
- Sound understanding of blended learning and the experience of students in blended programs, particularly at the graduate level
