Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Coordinator to join our Recreation Therapy/Adult Day Services department. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing recreational and leisure programs that support the health and well-being of our residents and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement recreational and leisure programs for residents and clients in residential, acute, and adult day program settings.
  • Supervise Activity Worker II positions and provide direction to designated volunteers.
  • Carry out therapeutic components of resident care plans under the clinical direction of a Recreation Therapist or other designated healthcare professional.
  • Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized recreational program plus one year of recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Valid Class IV Unrestricted BCDL (or willingness to obtain within the first six months of hire).
