Program Coordinator, Recreation

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Coordinator to join our Recreation Therapy/Adult Day Services department. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing recreational programs to support residents' health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement recreational programs for residents in residential, acute, and adult day program settings
- Supervise Activity Worker II positions and provide direction to designated volunteers
- Carry out therapeutic components of a resident's care plan under the clinical direction of a Recreation Therapist or designate
- Assist with monitoring patients' progression and provide support to residents
- Graduation from a recognized recreational program plus one year of recent, related experience
- Valid Class IV Unrestricted BCDL (or willingness to obtain within six months)
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to organize work, supervise, and operate related equipment
