Job Title: Inside Account Manager

Summit Fleet is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Account Manager to join our team. As an Inside Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our commercial lease and rental clients, while also identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects
  • Become a Salesforce expert, documenting all calls, emails, and tasks
  • Convert leads and prospects to new accounts
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients
  • Grow existing active accounts by following up with each account monthly
  • Consistently win back inactive accounts with tenacious follow-up
  • Clearly communicate with Summit client support staff regularly
  • Participate in ongoing Summit sales training and industry product learning
Requirements:
  • Post-Secondary education with a business/financial degree is preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of successful history in a commercial leasing or account management role
  • Strong written, oral, and presentation skills are required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of leasing, financing, and fleet management practices is an asset
  • Experience using Salesforce is an asset
  • Fleet or dealership experience is an asset
  • Capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment under expected timelines
  • Team-player who works well with all internal departments
