Job Title: Practical Nursing Instructor

CDI College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practical Nursing Instructor to join our team. As a valued member of our academic staff, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our students.

About the Role:
  • Deliver high-quality instruction that meets module and program objectives
  • Evaluate student performance fairly and consistently
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials
  • Support administrative functions to enhance the student experience
  • Act in a manner that upholds College standards
  • Participate in College and Program Activities
  • Monitor and review students during practicum and/or clinical placements
Requirements:
  • Current license with BCCNM
  • Three or more recent, full-time years' experience in the field with acute care experience
  • Degree or diploma from a recognized University or College in a relevant discipline
  • Credential in adult education or willingness to pursue the PID at an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills, including presentation and group facilitation
  • Ability to consider and respond appropriately to the needs, feelings, and capabilities of students
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of teaching experience
  • Interest in pedagogical and multi-modal education approaches
