Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team at Prizma Drywall Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to ensure a high-quality finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to achieve a smooth surface
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
Work Environment

As a Drywall Finisher, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying work sites, including heights, dusty, and noisy conditions. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding role.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in the trade
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work at heights, in dusty and noisy conditions
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a demanding role
  • Reliability and teamwork skills
Language and Work Setting

This role requires fluency in English and the ability to work in various locations. You will be required to work on the road and may be required to work overtime.
