About this role:

Black & McDonald's Mechanical & Electrical ICI team is seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join their team. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing estimates of probable costs of materials, labour and equipment for construction projects. You will also advise on tendering procedures, examine and analyze tenders, and recommend tender awards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare estimates for construction projects based on contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings and specifications
  • Advise on tendering procedures and recommend tender awards
  • Liaise with customers, vendors, engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors

Requirements:

  • Graduate of electrical estimating or construction program
  • Several years' experience working in the electrical construction sector
  • 10+ years' experience in estimating electrical ICI construction work, preferably on P3 projects

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Project)
  • Accubid
