At NPC NORTHLAND BUILDERS INC., we're looking for a skilled Drywall Specialist to join our team. This role requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic, with a focus on applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints. The ideal candidate will have experience with drywall installation, including cutting and fitting sheets, and securing them to metal or wooden studs or joists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
  • Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
  • Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound

Requirements:

  • Own tools/equipment: hard hat, steel-toed safety boots
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
