Job Summary

Groupe PARIMA is a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) with over 25 years of experience in developing and manufacturing non-sterile liquids, suspensions, and semi-solid drug products. We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing and Engineering Project Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage equipment installation, building modification, or improvement projects to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion.
  2. Oversee the change control process and qualification of projects to meet cGMP standards.
  3. Establish and maintain relationships with customers to define project requirements.
  4. Present technical information and concepts to stakeholders.
  5. Design and manage project plans to ensure adherence to schedule and budget.
  6. Manage scope changes and scope creep to maintain project integrity.
  7. Conduct feasibility studies to inform project decisions.
  8. Lead the purchasing process for projects, including sourcing and negotiating with suppliers.
  9. Produce quantity surveys and prepare budget estimates and reports.
  10. Review tender documents, specifications, and other technical documents.
  11. Supervise and inspect the installation, modification, and commissioning of installations.
  12. Address major technical problems in the plant and provide expertise to resolve issues.
  13. Contribute ideas and solutions to improve efficiency and safety.
Requirements
  1. University degree in engineering.
  2. Minimum of two years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  3. Good knowledge of automated systems.
  4. Good knowledge of mechanical systems.
  5. Knowledge of packaging and/or pharmaceutical equipment is an asset.
  6. Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma concepts is an asset.
  7. Excellent organization and time management skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Strong ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  10. Bilingualism is required: English and French.
  11. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
