Key Responsibilities- Manage technical projects, including building renovations, new equipment purchases, and installations.
- Lead the change control process and qualification of projects, ensuring compliance with cGMPs.
- Establish and maintain contacts with customers to define project requirements.
- Present technical information and concepts to stakeholders.
- Design and manage project plans, ensuring adherence to schedule and budget.
- Manage scope changes and scope creep.
- Conduct feasibility studies and lead the purchasing process for projects.
- Produce quantity surveys and prepare budget estimates and reports.
- Request and review tender documents, specifications, and other technical documents.
- Supervise and inspect the installation, modification, and commissioning of installations.
- Take charge of major technical problems in the plant and act as a resource person to help solve problems.
- Contribute ideas and solutions to improve efficiency and safety.
- University degree in engineering.
- Minimum of two years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Good knowledge of automated systems and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of packaging and/or pharmaceutical equipment is an asset.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma concepts is an asset.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Bilingualism required: English and French.
