Job Title: Manufacturing Project Engineer

Groupe Parima, a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing equipment installation, building modification, or improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage technical projects, including building renovations, new equipment purchases, and installations.
  • Oversee the change control process and qualification of projects to ensure compliance with cGMPs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers to define project requirements.
  • Present technical information and concepts to stakeholders.
  • Design and manage project plans to ensure timely and budget-friendly execution.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet schedule and budget targets.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to identify potential project risks and opportunities.
  • Lead the purchasing process for projects, including sourcing and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Prepare budget estimates and reports to inform project decisions.
  • Supervise and inspect the installation, modification, and commissioning of installations.
  • Address technical issues and provide solutions to improve efficiency and safety.
Requirements:
  • University degree in engineering.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automated systems and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with packaging and/or pharmaceutical equipment.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma concepts is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
