Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' hand and upper extremity function.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on client needs.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment.
  • Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, recovery, and management strategies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in hand therapy and incorporate best practices into patient care.

Requirements:
  • Certification as a Hand Therapist (CHT) is required.
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Physical Therapist (PT) in good standing with the relevant provincial college.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
