Produce Department Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Produce Department Supervisor to join our team at Persia Foods. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our produce department.
Key Responsibilities- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for the produce team to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise in a timely and professional manner.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain accurate inventory levels, including tracking stock levels, ordering supplies, and rotating stock to ensure freshness.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure that produce displays are visually appealing and well-maintained, including stocking shelves and arranging displays.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper handling and storage of produce.
- Supervision: Lead and manage a team of 3-4 produce staff, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and department performance.
- Experience: Minimum 7 months of experience in a produce department or related role, with a strong understanding of inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service principles.
Working Conditions: This is a full-time position, working 35-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods.
Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
