We are seeking a skilled Computer Repair Technician to join our team at Equip Exports Canada Inc.

Job Summary:

The Computer Repair Technician will be responsible for inspecting and repairing electronic equipment and assemblies, diagnosing and locating circuit, component and equipment faults, and testing and adjusting repaired products for proper functioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect products to determine the requirements for repair
  • Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies
  • Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power or specially designed tools
  • Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults
  • Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning
  • Adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment and assemblies
  • Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports
  • Prepare cost estimates
  • Supervise other electronic equipment service technicians
  • Provide customer service
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 35 hours of work per week
Work Environment:

The Computer Repair Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, physically demanding tasks, and work under pressure.

Weight Handling:

The Computer Repair Technician will be required to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) of equipment.
