Job Title: Clinical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Olive Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic. As a Clinical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapy services to our clients, working closely with our physiotherapy team to ensure comprehensive care.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical therapy, with experience in conducting program evaluations, consulting with healthcare professionals, and evaluating treatment plans. You will be responsible for conducting therapy sessions, preparing case histories, and assessing problems. Additionally, you will work closely with our team to develop and implement treatment plans, provide education to clients, and supervise other counsellors and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct program evaluations and consult with healthcare professionals to evaluate treatment plans
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of counselling and patient outcomes
  • Examine behaviour and interview clients to assess problems
  • Record observations and review reports from healthcare professionals
  • Supervise other counsellors, social service staff, and assistants
  • Use standard psychological tests for assessment and write progress reports
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, provide education to clients, and supervise other staff
Requirements:
  • Accreditation or registration with the appropriate national, provincial, or territorial professional association
  • Electronic medical records experience
  • MS Office skills, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Criminal record check
Work Environment:

Our clinic is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and you will be required to work under pressure. You will be expected to maintain accurate records, plan intervention programs, and follow up on results of counselling programs.
