Job Title: Groundskeeper

We are seeking a skilled Groundskeeper to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall appearance and maintenance of our hospital grounds, parking lots, and building entrances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine grounds maintenance tasks, including cleaning, planting, and repairing as required.
  • Operate a skid steer loader (bob cat) to maintain grounds and perform other related duties.
  • Ensure the hospital grounds are safe and accessible for patients, visitors, and staff.
Requirements:
  • Three (3) years' experience in grounds maintenance.
  • Previous experience operating a skid steer loader (bob cat) is required.
  • Grade 12 or recognized equivalent.
  • Certified as a Landscape Technician by the Province of Manitoba Department of Labour.
Working Conditions:

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to carry and move loads up to 34 kgs. You must be able to withstand long periods of strenuous activity and have good manual dexterity.
