Food Service Team Member

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Team Member to join our team at McDonald's Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton. As a key member of our food preparation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive high-quality food and excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment for our customers
- Keep accurate records of food quantities used to ensure efficient inventory management
- Package take-out food to meet customer expectations
- Portion and wrap foods to ensure presentation and quality standards are met
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demand
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile and a positive attitude
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain a well-stocked and organized kitchen
- Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently to meet customer needs
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs to meet quality standards
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a clean and safe environment
Work Environment
- Fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers and orders
- Overtime may be required to meet customer demand
- Physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks
- Work under pressure to meet customer expectations and deadlines
