SEA TO SKY SOURDOUGH BREAD is a 100% plant-based organic sourdough bread shop in the heart of Whistler Creekside, on the shared unceded territory of the Squamish nation and Lil'wat nation. We need strong team players to work in a dynamic environment and join us in our mission to deliver the most sustainable food and beverage offerings in the Sea to Sky Corridor.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is $26.77 per hour, with an estimated annual salary of approximately $55,534 based on 32 hours of work per week. In addition to a competitive hourly rate, we offer free baked goods and coffee per shift, as well as a 25% staff discount on retail goods when not working. Tips are also split equally among staff members.
Job DescriptionThis role involves maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping floors, wiping counter tops, and emptying garbage/recycling bins. The successful candidate will also be responsible for keeping baking equipment/dishes clean throughout their shift, assisting with basic food preparation, and helping unload deliveries and put stock away.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Clean and sanitize the kitchen throughout the shift, including sweeping, mopping floors, wiping counter tops, and emptying garbage/recycling bins.
- Keep baking equipment/dishes clean throughout your shift following cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with basic food preparation.
- Help unload deliveries and put stock away.
- Report any safety issues with equipment to a manager.

Other DetailsWe have a flexible language requirement, with English not required. A work permit until May 2025 is required. Shifts are available from 10AM - 6:30PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with occasional weekend shifts as needed. Staff accommodation is available for $1150/month all-in.
