Executive Culinary Lead

La Bocca is seeking a skilled Executive Culinary Lead to join our team. This is a full-time position with an estimated annual salary of $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience.
About the RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who can lead our culinary team with confidence. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory levels.
- Analyze operating costs and other data to inform menu decisions and optimize kitchen operations.
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff members, ensuring they are up-to-date with industry standards.
- SUPERVISE ACTIVITIES OF SPECIALIST CHEFS, CHEFS, COOKS, AND OTHER KITCHEN WORKERS.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets, conferences, and weddings.
- SUPERVISE COOKS AND OTHER KITCHEN STAFF TO ENSURE EFFICIENT OPERATION OF THE KITCHEN.
- Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and adequate stock levels.
- Plan menus that meet quality standards, considering dietary requirements and preferences.
- SUPERVISE ACTIVITIES OF SOUS-CHEFS, SPECIALIST CHEFS, CHEFS, AND COOKS TO ENSURE SMOOTH OPERATION OF THE KITCHEN.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, emphasizing food safety and presentation.
To be considered for this role, you must have:

- The ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
