We are seeking an experienced estate planning specialist to join our team at The HR Pro. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate administration, probate matters, and succession planning, with the ability to provide strategic legal advice to clients on complex estate matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on estate planning, including trusts, powers of attorney, and wills.
- Draft and review estate plans, Powers of Attorney, and wills.
- Assist executors with probate applications and asset distribution.
- Provide guidance on succession planning for high-net-worth individuals and business owners.
- Maintain compliance with Ontario estate laws, the Succession Law Reform Act, and the Substitute Decisions Act.
Qualifications & Skills
- LL.B. or J.D. degree and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in wills, estates, and trust law.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and client communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple client files.
