About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Automation Specialist to join our team at LG Electrical & Engine Specialists Ltd. As an Office Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions, including office services, budgeting, and record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the management team, including preparing reports, managing inventory, and maintaining budgetary controls.
  • Office Services: Coordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Record-Keeping: Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • Training and Development: Train staff on new administrative procedures and ensure that they are followed.
  • Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflict situations and oversee payroll administration.
  • Supervision: Supervise 1 to 2 people, with the potential to supervise 3-4 people in the future.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and inventory control software.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, organized, ability to multitask, and strong time management skills.

This is a permanent position in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
