Job Summary

JDG Tooling and Automation is seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal parts and products to meet our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and execute welding process specifications to ensure high-quality welds.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including flame-cutting and metal shaping machines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine weldability and fabricate metal parts.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
