Job Summary

The Condominium Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the efficiency of operations, accounting, and office administration of a condominium community by working closely with the Property Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with residents, contractors, and vendors to promptly attend to questions, requests, and concerns.
  • Administer the distribution and organization of invoices, purchase orders, reports, financial documents, etc.
  • Maintain condominium corporation records.
  • Confirm timely and accurate collection of common element assessment fees and other charges.
  • Prepare legal forms (i.e. status certificates, lien notices, etc.).
  • Perform regular inspections to assess the condition and prepare an action plan.
  • Maintain an annual planning guide for routine maintenance to ensure items are carried out on time and within budget.
  • E nsure compliance with all Municipal, Provincial & Federal Government By-laws.
  • Report any problems or issues to the Condominium Property Manager.
  • Assist in hiring contractors and staff necessary for the upkeep of the property.
  • Assist in preparing Management Reports, Board meeting agendas, budgets, Resident Meetings, Annual General Meetings, etc.
Qualifications
  • Must have a limited license and/or be working towards obtaining a General License.
  • Knowledge of the Condominium Act, physical building, accounting, etc.
  • 2-4 years of proven experience in condominium property management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Able to travel within the GTA.
Salary

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience.
