About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Installation Specialist to join our team at McShawn Diversified Incorporated. As an Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing kitchen cupboards and vanities to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation of Kitchen Cupboards and Vanities: Ensure that all installations are completed to the highest standards, meeting the requirements of our clients.
  • Measurement and Marking: Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Material Preparation: Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, ensuring that all necessary tools and equipment are available.
  • Site Preparation: Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, and prepare the work site for installation.
  • Tool Operation: Utilize hand and power tools to complete installations, ensuring that all work is done safely and efficiently.
  • Site Safety: Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure that all installations meet the required standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in the field of installation.
  • Certifications: Working at heights training, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, and Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment, requiring the ability to handle heavy loads and work at heights.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, accuracy, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, and values and ethics.
